Daniel Hurley to head Digital Media Division of Evolutions Television

As part of an ongoing expansion of its facilities, Evolutions Television has increased its graphics capabilities to offer clients a full graphics creation to digital content delivery service.
The company has hired former Technicolor DVD and video streaming specialist, Daniel Hurley, to run the new Digital Media division.
With broadcasters looking to encourage more audience participation and add value to their programmes, re-purposing content for digital delivery via iTV, DVD, the Internet and CD is becoming increasingly important.
Michael Robinson, head of sales for Evolutions, said: “Today more than ever clients are asking us if we can provide not only our traditional graphics and editing services but also deal with the whole authoring, encoding and streaming side as well. With a new Digital Media division, this means we can complete the loop from creation to delivery in any format. It will also enable us to attract more work from the growing corporate sector.”
