PROVYS Reporting Saves the Day...

Never before have media programming managers, controllers and senior staff been faced with such a myriad of requests for regular, repetitive, ad-hoc, and sometimes unnecessary reports, all of them oriented upon satisfying the egos, ambitions and occasional analytical requirements of top management and shareholders. There are many ways to create a report. Using a software package built on a robust relational database which gathers all necessary metadata puts you in an advantageous situation. You can generate your charts, pivot tables or list views based on standard templates and this may sufficiently cover all the requirements. The standard Provys TVoffice software package is accompanied by a set of standardised printed reports that can be always customised and extended. The administration toolkit includes a report generator and a report editor with an access to all data stored and administered by the system database. The generated reports can be visualised using individual screens or displayed as a part of the client application (so-called dockable reports). They can be printed or stored as a file too. The printed report graphics editor is a tool completely integrated into the environment of the Provys database. The report definition export and versioning storage is supported for a continuous report development and enhancement.

But the business life in a media company has never been easy and the corporate management would sooner or later ask for dynamic on-line reports that would combine information from different sources or even different databases, such as financial systems, archives or production networks. Then Provys Reporting Studio offers a real benefit with aggregated and detailed information based on data operated and stored in multiple and heterogeneous databases. Provys uses its deep knowledge and experience of the broadcasting and general media sectors to bring you this time-saving, stress-relieving, and accurate reporting tool. Interested clients can try this service free of charge for an initial period, transferring to a subscription basis when they are fully satisfied.

More sophisticated clients will be able to request bespoke modifications to standard formats according to their specific needs.
