Phantasia Broadcast to launch PAS automation system at IBC

The Phantasia Automation System (PAS) is a fully scalable multi-channel digital play out solution.
PAS provides open architecture, is MPEG & DV compatible and features single to multiple channel upgrade options.
PAS allows access to windows GUI based applications that are implemented throughout the system.
The operator is constantly presented with up-to-date information such as warning alarms, status reports and other continuous monitoring data.
This data encompasses the whole broadcast chain from gathering the source material, the scheduling and routing of the transmission path to the final broadcast output.
Broadcast schedules enter PAS using a comprehensive database management system. Individual servers provide independent output streams of SDI video with embedded multi channel audio in the MPEG or DVB domain.
