Kirby Appointed Senior Attorney For Hasbro Studios International Distribution

Hasbro Studios has appointed Rob Kirby as senior attorney for Hasbro Studios International Distribution.
He will fill the vacancy left by the departure of Kevin Healy, head of legal and business affairs since September 2009, who recently announced his retirement. Kirby will work closely with Mike Eisner, senior VP, business and legal affairs for Hasbro Studios.
"Rob brings with him a wealth of experience in rights management and sales across all media and markets," said Finn Arnesen, Hasbro Studios senior VP, international distribution and development, to whom he will report. "With his 12 years of high-level legal and business experience selling traditional/new media platform programming and related rights, Rob will play an integral role in our global sales operations. He will replace Kevin, who has been an outstanding member of our team for the past five years."
Previously, Kirby served as head of legal and business affairs for three years at DRG, a leading independent distributor of television programs and formats such as The Inbetweeners, Doc Martin, Don't Tell The Bride and Heston's Fantastical Foods.
Kirby earlier served for six years in a similar role at Target Entertainment, where he distributed TV rights and licensing for the kids' properties Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car, as well as distributing and producing the entertainment format Popstars.
