Sandy Lieberson Returns To Corona Fastnet Festival

Sandy Lieberson, founder and Chair of Film London and one of the founders of The Berlin Talent Campus, is to return to Schull in West Cork, Ireland, for this year's Corona Fastnet Short Film Festival.
The announcement follows his appearance at the 2011 festival, when Greg Dyke interviewed Sandy and David Puttnam.
This year, organisers say, Sandy will occupy a more "hands on" role at the festival.
Fastnet runs from 21 to 25 May in Schull, a small town that has no cinema.
Attendees are invited to explore alternatives, as screenings, Q&As, premieres, workshops and discussions are held in various locations across the town.
'Distributed Cinema' is the name of Schull's own dedicated server for short films. Anyone with a smartphone, laptop or tablet can access the submitted films through Wi-Fi, anywhere on Main Street during the festival.
The server is also used alongside HD media players, to screen films in a number of smaller venues throughout the locality.
