Ross Video VPS Integrates Tiffen Broadcast Solutions

Ross Video is featuring integrated Ross-Tiffen solutions as part of the Ross Virtual and Augmented Reality studio.
The virtual studio will show a fully automated broadcast production system with a practical set extended by a virtual set and extensive use of immersive augmented reality graphics. The studio uses Tiffen’s custom-mounted Listec Teleprompters fitted to Ross’ CamBot and Furio Robotic Camera Systems. Tiffen is also providing lighting for the studio, Lowel Prime Power LED Series lights.
"Ross Video is a household name in broadcast and we are proud to have our brands, Lowel Lights and Listec Teleprompters, as part of its live production studio event at IBC2013," comments Steve Tiffen, President and CEO, The Tiffen Company. "Ross Video’s commitment to delivering world-class broadcast solutions is right in line with our philosophy of delivering products that help create the world’s best images."
"Partnerships like the one we have with Tiffen ensures a great solution for our mutual customers," commented David Ross, CEO, Ross Video. "I can’t emphasize enough how impressed I am with the level of dedicationTiffen has shown in ensuring that their Listec prompters integrate well with Ross Robotics. The Lowell lighting solution that we are using in our virtual and augmented reality system helps us showcase our technology in an impressive way."
Listec Teleprompters
Listec offers a wide range of innovative teleprompters, including the Direct View PVM studio prompter, which is on display at the Ross Video stand, the brand new PW Series for smartphones and tablets, and Lightweight Entrée 8" and 10" On-Camera Teleprompters.
Lowel Prime Power LED Lights
The Lowel Prime Power LED Light collection includes the 200, 400 and now the 800 models, each available in dedicated Daylight or Tungsten color versions. With a high CRI of 90+ for accurate color, Lowel Prime Power LED lights have both a brighter and wider beam output than the LED competition in their price class. A key feature, the 50-degree beam angle allows considerable light output to be spread across a wider area, reducing the need for additional fixtures to light a set.
