Top UK interactive design studio invests in 844/X

Abbey Road Interactive have placed an order for a Media 100 844/X, the award-winning editing and compositing system.
The new 844/X system at Abbey Road Interactive will be used to develop menu and interactive navigation systems for the many music, film and TV DVD titles produced at the studio. 844/X is perfectly suited to this task because it handles deeply layered and complex media content quickly and with ease, and also integrates seamlessly with other applications already in use at the studio for a fluid workflow.
Also, 844/X's ability to process recursively and in realtime across many layers will drastically reduce the development time of projects at this busy and world-renowned studio.
Rob Pinniger, Technical Manager at Abbey Road said: "844/X will enable our designers and video editors to be creative with ideas in the studio without waiting for long periods of rendering.
