Sony Professional Showcases Its Full F-Series Large Sensor Camera Line-Up

At BVE 2013, Sony Professional is showcasing its full F-series large sensor camera line-up, comprising the PMW-F3, NEX-FS700, PMW-F5, PMW-F55 and F65 4K digital cameras, and debuting its groundbreaking PVM-X300 4K LCD monitor as the broadcast industry wakes up to 4K for a broader range of programming.
The show also sees Sony exhibit the full breadth of its industry-leading production tools, including the large sensor NEX-EA50EH and NEX-FS700E, as well as the handheld XDCAM 422 range - comprising the PMW-100, PMW-150* and PMW-200* - providing solutions for a wide range of applications from corporate and event videography to news and long-form episodic TV.
The Sony PMW-200 camcorder has seen sales surge among the UK production community with Boundless Productions' flagship programme 'Escape to the Country' the latest to integrate the camera into its existing set up for the next series, shooting in March.
Sony has also announced that its market leading digital wireless audio products are being used by the BBC on a wide range of factual, entertainment and news programming.

'Escape to the Country' adds Sony PMW-200 to production set up for next series
Boundless Productions, part of Fremantle Media UK, integrates Sony’s handheld PMW-200 with Sony PMW-500 and Sony PMW-EX3 as it becomes the latest high-profile factual entertainment programme to use the camera. Mark Bos, Production Executive at Boundless Productions, said:  “Integrating the PMW-200 into this series of ‘Escape to the Country’ was a no-brainer. Our goal is always to deliver a better series than the last and the PMW-200 enables us to do that.” 
BBC uses Sony Digital Radio Microphones on 'The Voice' and 'The Apprentice'
Sony specialist dealers Visual Impact Northern supplies DWX series microphones and transmitters to the BBC for use on factual, entertainment and news programming. 4K future
Visitors to the Sony stand (C38) at BVE will see the latest additions to its F Series CineAlta 4K range, the PMW-F5 and PMW-F55 - which started shipping in the run up to the show - join Sony's existing range of NEX-FS700, PMW-F3 and F65 cameras that provide filmmakers and production companies with the most comprehensive range of large sensor acquisition tools in the industry. The new cameras, which record in Sony's XAVC codec, have already received massive interest from the industry with substantial pre-orders placed from dealers and hire companies.
