PowerDirector 11 Supports 4K Video
CyberLink Corp has released an update for PowerDirector 11 adding support for the latest GoPro HD HERO3 Black Edition camera; the first consumer level sports-action camera with 4K video recording capability.
To ensure users are not only able to record their adventures in the highest quality, but later edit and produce them too, CyberLink has expanded the comprehensive 4K video editing capabilities in PowerDirector 11 to support the latest GoPro HD HERO3 series of cameras, delivering a truly end-to-end 4K video experience.
"Sports-action cameras are hugely popular as they allow professional and amateur athletes to easily capture their activities in high-resolution stills and high-definition 4K video," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. "However, if users are to fully enjoy the benefits of 4K video, then they need editing software that can support it. CyberLink PowerDirector 11’s support for 4K video files from the GoPro HD HERO3 mean they can now easily edit, preserve and share their unique experiences."
The new PowerDirector 11 update is now available to existing users for free via the CyberLink Update Center. New customers who are interested in end-to-end 4K video editing can also purchase the latest version of PowerDirector 11 from the CyberLink online store. CyberLink PowerDirector 11 is currently available for preview during the 2013 International CES event at Suite H477, Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (3000 Paradise Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89109).
