Loky has announced that it has been shortlisted for the Best Consumer App in 2012 at this year's Appsters Awards.
Once a well-kept secret, the Loky (pronounced low-key) app is quickly becoming the 'must have' app for people who want to keep their private life private.
Available on Android smartphones, Loky enables its users to keep their personal information safe within the handset and also backed up at all times on the cloud. Loky brings three key components together to provide a single service, the Loky personal privacy solution. The Loky app provides an automatic secure vault within a mobile handset which is also backed up automatically to the secure vault in the Loky cloud with access either through the Loky app or the Loky online service. Lost smartphones are no longer the instant nightmare that all users dread as all contacts, data and images will be instantly retrievable through the Loky service.

All the normal functions on the handset remain the same; Loky simply creates a separate secure contact list within the app. Once installed, the service automatically separates on the smartphone identified texts, calls, pictures and videos, which then seamlessly transfer updates to the Loky cloud and can then be accessed from any web-enabled device. Loky has the capability of acting as a separate phone within the same phone to save received and saved text and content from selected individuals.
