HHB Highlights Latest In Broadcast And Pro Audio Technology

Broadcast and pro audio technology specialists HHB Communications is highlighting the latest professional audio products for surround sound acquisition and post production, loudness metering and correction, and making two Middle East product debuts during the CABSAT 2012 show at the Dubai International Convention Centre on stand S1-B7.
HHB is co-exhibiting with TC Electronic, Presonus and Dolby and exhibiting microphones from RØDE, cabling solutions from Mogami, surround sound microphones and hardware from SoundField, and professional audio equipment for broadcast, film-post, and testing applications from Studio Technologies.
TC Electronic will have representatives on hand to demonstrate the features of the LM2 Precision Loudness and True-Peak Meter and the TM9 TouchMonitor loudness meters and loudness meter plugins, and the DB4MKII broadcast processor. Dolby will also have staff on site to show the DP568 Professional Reference Decoder, and many more innovative products.
The PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 digital console will also be on show. Ideal for broadcast installations, the compact 16.0.2 provides the same high standard of performance and audio quality as larger models in the range. It offers the seamless integration of software (including iPad remote control capability) into a compact and more affordable package.
The new RØDE Stereo VideoMic Pro will be unveiled for the first time in the Middle East. Building on the features of the popular VideoMic Pro, the on-camera mic uses a matched pair of high sensitivity, half-inch cardioid condenser capsules in a coincident XY pair. The Stereo VideoMic Pro has an ergonomic form factor perfectly suited to DSLR, consumer camcorders and large sensor video cameras. An integrated shock mounting system is provided to offer isolation from vibration and mechanical noise.
HHB will also be hosting the Middle East debut of Mogami Packaged Cables. The high-quality cables are now available from HHB in a single-cable package with terminated ends. The line includes a total of 46 cables: 4 x Reference Microphones Cables, 12 x Premium Studio Accessory Cables; 6 x Premium Guitar Cables, 3 x Premium AES/EBU Interface Cables; 12 x Analogue 8-channel multicore cables, and 9 x Digital 8-channel AES/EBU multicore cables.
HHB International Sales Manager Matthew Fletcher stated: “CABSAT is such an important show for us that we made the decision to book our own stand with TC Electronic, PreSonus and Dolby this year. The Middle East is one of our key markets and the high quality of visitors attending CABSAT makes it a great platform to highlight the latest state-of-the-art tools for pro audio broadcasters and engineers in the region.”
Visitors are invited to stop by the HHB stand to collect a free copy of the new HHB 2012 Catalogue. With more than 2,000 products on over 200 pages, the HHB 2012 Catalogue is the biggest yet and a must have for any pro audio professional.
