Tiffen To Show Three Product Ranges At BVE

Tiffen International is showing three of its major product ranges at BVE 2012. Steadicam camera support, Tiffen optical filters and software and Lowel Lighting are on show on three separate stands to enable visitors to quickly receive attention from the industry experts on hand.
Steadicam - Tiffen Stand A.50
A selection of the Steadicam range of supports will be on show for cameras ranging from iPhone and GoPro to Red and Alexa. These will include Steadicam Phantom-V, a new member of the Steadicam range that is designed specifically for the HD broadcast television and 3D markets. Able to support loads of up to 20kg this is a big rig that offers high performance camera support with all the features needed for operation in live broadcasts.
Filters – London Filter Company Stand 620
The London Filter Company rents and sells optical filters covering professional MPTV filters as well as having an inventory of smaller ring filters. Customers range from rental companies to individuals shooting for television or cinema projects.
LFC holds a large stock of filters from both Tiffen and Schneider. It offers top-notch expert advice on what to use to achieve a required look, and to assure footage is free from possible problems including UV and the IR pollution that can affect shots, especially those captured with modern CMOS-sensor cameras. Tiffen Dfx V3 filter software offers accurate previsualisation and post applications operations for popular NLE and photo applications.
Lowel Lighting – ProKit Stand H 14
ProKit is showing the latest in Lowel Prime LED lighting range. These include the 200 and 400 fixtures bringing studio quality illumination to full production facilities as well as short-term production facilities. The tungsten light models will be on show; the new daylight models will be available shortly. The Lowel Prime LED lights are brighter than similarly sized production LEDs, offer a wide 50-degree beam angle and include manual dimming as well as DMX control. Outputs are 4870 and 7095 Lux at 0.9 meters for the 200 and 400 respectively. The lights are compact at 44.9 x 38.0 x 8.9cm for the 200 and 63.3 x 38.0 x 8.9 cm for the 400, both including the C clamp. The kits also include the gel frame and three safety cables.
