Introduced to the UK market in September this year through newly appointed distributor Octica Professional Ltd the new Cartoni MAXIMA Fluid Action head has been an instant success with the first two being ordered, immediately on first UK demonstration, by renowned Pinewood based rental facility Movietech for use in supporting their Alexa fleet.
Following this success it has gone on to be accepted by many other established rental companies for use in supporting fully equipped Digital-Film cameras including the Alexa, RED and coming soon Sony F65 as well as 3D Rigs and other sophisticated camera set-ups.
Through its innovative compact, yet strong - robust design coupled with an industry leading precise and patented counterbalance system the MAXIMA is geared toward the industry standard and consider the head of choice for those looking for a better made and better value for money alternative to American made heads.
The MAXIMA’s controls are ergonomically placed to ensure camera operators complete ease-of-use whether in studio, on location or even during OB events while drag and counter balance steps are monitored on a digital display. With a payload capacity range of 0 – 52Kg perfect balance is offered throughout the entire 180° tilt range making the equipment the ideal support partner for any digital-film camera especially the Alexa and new Sony F65.
Supported by a range of legs and accessories the head is manufactured in Europe using only machined components (non-cast). It is lighter yet stronger outperforming other heads both in ability and is approximately 25% lower in cost too. The MAXIMA is available for quick supply and is covered by a 5 year warranty that includes parts which like the head can normally be supplied within a couple of days.
