SGL Expands Americas Sales Team

Software Generation Ltd (SGL), a leading provider of content archive and storage management software for media and entertainment, has announced the promotion of Douglas Wynn to VP Sales Americas and the appointment of industry veteran Ted Dembicki who will replace Wynn as Sales Manager Eastern America and Canada.
Wynn, who has been with SGL since 2009, has been instrumental in a number of major sales successes and is a well respected figure in the industry. In his new role he will oversee and develop sales across the Americas, manage the Americas sales force and define and execute strategy. Commenting on his promotion, Wynn said: "I'm delighted to accept this promotion and look forward to leading the sales team and continuing to raise the profile of the company even further in the Americas. SGL has a dynamic global team that's dedicated to providing our customers with the best content archive and storage management solutions and we are constantly looking to enhance that."
A seasoned business executive, Dembicki has a proven track record in strategic planning and the development of new markets and revenue streams. He joins SGL from Pebble Beach where he held the role of VP North America.
Prior to joining Pebble Beach he spent five years at Harris as Director of Business Development Emerging Markets. He has also held key roles at Encoda, ManagedStorage International, DIVA Division and RT Set.
Dembicki added: "Having worked in the broadcast sector for more than 15 years I am confident that my experience will drive new business and nuture existing relationships in these territories. I'm delighted to be working with Doug and the rest of the US sales force and look forward to this new chapter in my career."
