Ianiro's Alladin Grants Three Wishes: Power, Performance And Price

Ianiro has announced the launch of the new LED version of its popular 12V light.
The Aladdin DVCam Light has been upgraded with state-of-the-art LED technology. With its dual power on board options (18.7W and 9.3W), the new generation of Aladdin LED 12V is approximately as bright as a 50W conventional tungsten unit with less than half the power consumption.
Ianiro's lighting specialists have found that only high quality LEDs in particular arrays can deliver real efficiency and the right balance between consumption, performance and longevity. Many earlier generation LED systems have lacked the efficiency or performance required by television producers.
Ianiro's latest lights use Ianileds which benefit from precise LED colour groups combined with new custom-designed PCBs. Employing Osram Oslon SSL LEDs, an exceptionally small light source designed to maximise application efficiency, the designers at Ianiro have been able to engineer a slim and compact lighting unit that delivers directed light with outstanding efficiency. The light employs a mixed configuration with white LEDs balanced by amber LEDs to produce a colour temperature that is ideal for digital acquisition.
The result is a product that represents excellent value for money while delivering on the needs of the most demanding productions. Featuring a wide angle beam (80°) that is suitable for 16:9 production, the light delivers a natural skin tone and has a lifetime of around 50,000 hours.
Control of the unit is simple and instant. It offers a dimmer control, with colour temperature constant across the range, a tungsten orange filter (3200K) and barn doors profited to the unit. It comes complete with a DMount hinged arm and a power tap connector.
