Thomson Video Networks Appoint SVS Telekom As Valued Partner For Middle East
Thomson Video Networks has announced that it has appointed SVS Telekom as a value-added reseller (VAR) partner for Turkey and the surrounding Middle East region.
SVS Telekom will distribute and support the entire Thomson Video Networks product range in the area, and will offer design and integration services for installations based on Thomson products.
Istanbul-based SVS Telekom has successfully represented the Thomson Video Networks product line in Turkey for five years, during which time the company has raised awareness through major sales to satellite operators, broadcasters and cable networks.
Abdullah Saglam, Sales Director for SVS Telekom, said: "Thomson Video Networks creates exceptional solutions for a range of broadcasting and media delivery applications. We have enjoyed working with the company for the past five years as we have developed the market in Turkey, and now we are delighted to be carrying the relationship forward into the wider region and enrol in the VAR programme."
SVS Telekom will take the lead in regional customer projects with support from Thomson Video Networks, to deliver full customer satisfaction. Thomson Video Networks' support to VAR partners includes on-site or remote dedicated assistance services, and tailored-to-VAR second-line service level agreement (SLA) programmes. SVS Telekom will develop its skills and expertise with the product line through Thomson's advanced VAR training scheme programme, and will aim to increase its share of the video compression business in the Middle East.
Christophe Delahousse, President of Thomson Video Networks, said :"SVS Telekom has amply proven its qualities as a first-class distribution partner for us. The regional strategy SVS Telekom is pursuing fits perfectly with the aims of our own VAR programme, which seeks to extend the reach of Thomson Video Networks through partnerships with outstanding regional specialists like SVS Telekom, who can deliver the highest level of local service to its customers on our behalf."
