Endemol Signs 'Global' Deal With Ross

New programme ideas from the high-profile UK presenter/producer, Jonathan Ross are to potentially achieve worldwide exposure after he signed a deal with the production and distribution giant Endemol.
It sees an exclusive programming deal with Ross's own production company, Hotsauce TV.
Endemol, a world leader in entertainment programming previously revealed a significant new Big Brother deal for its pan-Scandinavian operation Endemol Nordic.
The move came after Endemol's formats including Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, 1 vs. 100, Fear Factor and Wipeout proven to be hits across Scandinavia.
Now, Endemol and Jonathan Ross - who have been separately responsible for two of the most controversial television shows of the last decade - will join forces in a bid to come up with what they hope will be the 'next generation' of entertainment hits.
Ross may present some of the shows as well as co-producing them through Hotsauce, and has already begun developing shows at Endemol's production base in west London.
Ross - who left the BBC in July, just over 18 months after he was suspended without pay for three months for his part in the phone-in 'Sachsgate' affair - is said to be looking forward to the development.
He will still run his own ITV chat show, which begins next year, and is also working on a number of other presenting projects, including one on the UK's favourite toys, for Channel 4.
Hotsauce produced Ross's BBC1 chat show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross which came to an end this year, and Channel 4's Big Fat Quiz of the Year, also featuring Ross.
Endemol UK, which produced Big Brother for 11 years until it came to an end this year, still has an entertainment slate that includes The Million Pound Drop Live, Deal or No Deal and 8 Out of 10 Cats, all for Channel 4, BBC1's Would I Lie To You? and Total Wipeout, and Charlie Brooker's Newswipe for BBC2 and BBC4.
Endemol will globally distribute programmes and formats that are developed as part of the Ross deal, just as they have successfully done with the Big Brother Scandinavian export deal.
Endemol Worldwide Distribution will handle these international sales of the shows resulting from the partnership.
