MOOV Serves Up Graphics For Wimbledon

Chyron has announced that UK broadcast graphics company MOOV used Chyron HyperX graphics infrastructure for this year's Wimbledon tennis championship on the BBC.
MOOV is the first graphics operation in the UK to realise the potential of Chyron's newest software version, Lyric PRO 8. The biggest benefit of version 8 for MOOV was to easily create Seeds Boards with corresponding animations before they actually knew the winners. MOOV also wrote a new results control interface to the HyperX's that uses XML updates from IBM.
MOOV Managing Director Duncan Foot said: "We have used Chyron graphic systems in the past for various sporting events with tremendous success. With the added features of Lyric PRO 8 and the power, flexibility and speed of the HyperX, we knew that it was the best choice for such a high profile event like Wimbledon."
