Canal Plus upgrade graphics infrastructure

Chyron Corporation have announced that France’s Canal Plus has installed 12 Chyron Duet graphics and animation systems in their Paris facility.
A combination of Duet LE and Duet SD systems running Chyron’s award-winning Lyric 2D/3D graphics creation and playout software will be used in post-production and live-to-air situations. The Duet SD’s will be used primarily for live sports- related programs such as soccer, horse racing, and boxing. The Duet LE’s will be housed in the post- production area and used primarily for live entertainment shows.
“Chyron has enjoyed a long-lasting relationship with Canal Plus”, explained Patrick Morel, General Manager of Chyron France. “Local support and service, together with Canal Plus’ experience of the product line, made Duet an ideal solution.”
