'Come Dine With Me' Format For 20th Country

A global entertainment company have announced a significant commission of 445 new episodes of the hit format Come Dine with Me in Eastern Europe.
The deals have been secured with major terrestrial broadcasters in Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Turkey.
The news follows Germany’s landmark broadcast of its 1000 episode of Come Dine with Me on VOX, produced by Granada Germany.
ITV Studio's Come Dine with Me will appear for the first time in Serbia on Nacionalna TV which has commissioned 65 episodes and in Slovenia on Pop TV which has commissioned 120 episodes to be broadcast in spring 2010. This significant commission is the twentieth country to commission Come Dine with Me for local production.
The format has also been confirmed for its sixth season on leading broadcaster Show TV Turkey which has commissioned 60 new episodes, a third season on Hungary’s RTL Klub, which is the local home of ITV Studios format I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! and has commissioned 120 episodes, and a third season with RTL Croatia, which has commissioned 90 episodes to air later in 2010.
All the deals were brokered by Jennifer Ebell, Sales Executive, Central & Eastern Europe, the Baltics and Turkey at ITV Studios Global Entertainment. Ebell commented: "Come Dine with Me is fast establishing itself as the must-have format in commissioners schedules.
"The format is totally unique in its proposition and popularity, whilst extremely efficient in its production."
