NV5100MC Master Switchers Installed At Training Facility

A manufacturer of high-performance hardware and software for the television broadcast industry has announced that Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. (TBS, Inc.) has upgraded its operator training facility by installing eight NV5100MC master control switcher systems.
Miranda Technologies, specialising in enhancing the transition to complex multi-channel digital and HD broadcast environments, explained how the Atlanta facility now provides off-line and on-air training for new operators, using the latest HD equipment it also serves as a back-up master control facility and provides three off-line training positions, and two on-air control positions with redundant A and B chains.

Since Turner’s Broadcast Operating Centres are now equipped with NV5100MC master control switchers, we needed to add the same equipment to our training facility."
