Tim Jones Cameraman and Drone Pilot Wales

Tim Jones is a BBC-trained shooting producer/director, lighting cameraman, drone pilot and shoot-edit, also working as a freelance videographer covering Wales and The West of England.

He is available as a sole operator or, with a team of trusted freelancers for multi-camera shoots, green screen, and live streaming with the stability and flexibility of LiveU bonded streaming equipment. Tim can record sound and edit on Premier Pro.
Tim has been shooting for 30 years; at BBC Westminster and later as a shoot-edit and lighting cameraman for BBC News and Channel 4 News. As a shooting producer/director, Tim has produced and worked on films for everything from The One Show to the Ten O’clock News and Panorama. A BBC-trained journalist and producer, Tim can also direct and conduct interviews, removing the need to send a reporter to a remote location.
He is based in South Wales, so Bristol, Newport, Cardiff, Swansea, Aberystwyth and Hereford are all within easy reach. He has a VW van suitable for laptop editing if required, with 4G/5G connectivity if available. The team has two Sony FX6 4K camcorders, zoom and prime lenses, and a gimbal and action cameras.

Tim is a professional photographers and CAA-approved drone pilot and can combine the disciplines if needed. As You See It Media has a Mavic 2 Pro and a Mavic Mini 3 Pro.
