Cardiff Theatrical Services (CTS) provide a world class scenery building and finishing service for all production, theatre, opera and event companies.

Situated in the vibrant capital of Wales, the CTS workshops are easy to get to whether you are travelling by air, road or rail. Our workshops cover 2,910 square metres, allowing us to construct entire productions using metalwork, carpentry, painting and sculpting; using traditional techniques as well as embracing modern technology such as the CNC machine.


We have the capacity to fit up full sets in the workshop, allowing our clients to see it before it goes on site - saving them valuable time, and money.

 The staff at CTS are experienced, passionate, and highly skilled in their own fields. Everyone involved will look after your project - giving it the same level of care and attention to detail as you will. We also have a network of additional staff we can call upon should a project require it.

Established in 1984, CTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Welsh National Opera. We build all of the WNO scenery, some of which is now over 20 years old and still touring, looking as good as it did on its first outing. Please feel free to call to talk through your requirements.
