Dayang Reports High Interest At Vietnam Television Festival

Dayang has reported a high level of interest in its range of broadcast video products among delegates at the 26th Vietnam Television Festival, held this month in Ho Chi Minh City.
Organised this year by HCM City Television (HTV), the festival attracted a record 619
entries. Prize-winners will be broadcast on February 18, the Vietnamese New Year.
"Our product range is very well respected by Vietnamese broadcasters," commented Dayang International Chairman, Karlton Burn. "The festival proved an ideal venue to talk with programme-makers, post-production creatives and staff from the country's television networks. Co-exhibiting with Hanoi-based Vietnam reseller, Vinematim, we showcased our
Magicwall digital multidisplay processor, D3-CG titling system and and D3-Edit video/audio editor. Delegates were particularly impressed by the user-friendly ergonomics of the titler and the editor and by the seamless connectivity of the Dayang product range."
Dayang's Magicwall allows multiple television channels to be viewed on a single display screen as a compact and energy-efficient alternative to racks of individual monitors. The latest version MW-5160 can import up to 16 digital programme sources with embedded audio to display devices at up to 1600 x 1200 pixels resolution. Model MW-5320 has an identical specification to the MW-5160 but a higher channel capacity, displayingup to 32 simultaneous channels.
Dayang's D3-CG character generator is a powerful system incorporating all the tools required to originate graphics, titles and animation, including real-time letter-by-letter motion-path manipulation.
Running on an open PC platform, it delivers multilayer graphics including 3D titling and true object-based timeline control for infinite-layer title display.
Dayang's D3-Edit video/audio editor features hardware-accelerated real-time 3D page turn, reshaping, graphic pasting and particle effects based on Flex 3D and Power of X technology. A complete colour-correction toolset provides modes such as primary/secondary/partial colour control with integral real time monitoring vectorscope. Chroma, luma, graphic and title keys are also featured, including precise matte adjustment.
