Production Underway On Netflix King Arthur Adaptation

Netflix has commenced production on Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler's Arthurian legend re-imagining, 'Cursed'.

Miller, famous for helming 'Sin City' and '300', is adapting his own upcoming book with Wheeler, which tells the legend of King Arthur through the eyes of the young woman who would become the Lady of the Lake.

'13 Reasons Why' star Katherine Langford is leading the series, with Devon Terrell ('Barry'), Gustaf Skarsgård ('Westworld', 'Vikings') and Daniel Sharman ('Fear The Walking Dead') also set to appear.

Further cast announcements include Peter Mullan ('Ozark'), Lily Newmark ('Pin Cushion'), Shalom Brune-Franklin ('The State', 'Our Girl'), Sebastian Armesto ('Poldark', 'Broadchurch'), Emily Coates ('Flack'), Catherine Walker ('Versailles', 'The Delinquent Season') and Billy Jenkins ('The Crown', 'Holmes & Watson', 'Humans').

The first two episodes will be directed by Zetna Fuentes, who also worked with Netflix on series two of Marvel's 'Jessica Jones'.

Creator Miller and Wheeler are serving as executive producers alongside Sileen Thomas. Alex Boden ('Sense 8', 'Cloud Atlas') is a producer.

The series will begin filming in March 2019 in England and Wales.
