RECORD ORDER RECEIVED BY ASTON

SPANISH state broadcaster Radio Television Espanola - TVE - have placed a landmark order for 57 Aston Motto dedicated character generators, to be delivered by the end of the year, the first time in the history of Aston that a single order has exceeded 50 units.
Aston's Spanish distributor, Meditel, secured the order in the face of competition from both dedicated and PC solutions, after the Madrid-based broadcaster initiated the evaluation process earlier this year.
Following on-site demonstrations of a number of competitive products, TVE ultimately chose Motto because of its popularity with the operators, who liked its easy user interface and advanced functionality. Motto also found favour with TVE's engineers, who have had positive experiences with the Astons already installed there. The 57 Mottos, which will be shipped before Christmas, are destined for installation around TVE's regional stations and within the large OB fleet.
