Storm Broadcast Provides Brainstorm's Aston 7 To Nemeton TV

Brainstorm Multimedia's UK reseller,Storm Broadcast, has supplied Brainstorm's Aston 7 Real Time 3D Character Generator to Nemeton Television, the independent television production company based in Waterford, Ireland.
The Aston 7 offers a unique and powerful 3D broadcast graphics presentation platform. Aimed at live TV programming such as news, sports, business, and shopping, the Aston 7 package contains provisions for 3D animated text and graphics, on-screen video clips, built-in support for live content feeds, and proven connectivity to external automation systems.
Storm Broadcast supplied the Brainstorm Aston 7 software and hardware, installed, configured, and loaded Nemeton's project material; and subsequently tested all aspects of the system prior to shipping.
Nemeton Television's Head of Sports Maidhcí Ó Súilleabháin said, "Having previously used Aston 7 for our OB work it made it an easy choice to install Aston 7 in our new HD studio build. Storm Broadcast was very supportive in building and testing the system to our specification before delivery and provided excellent support during the extremely tight install and testing phase. We have been delighted with the ongoing reliability and smooth operation of the system and the follow through support provided by Storm Broadcast."
Arriving approximately one week before going live, the Aston 7 system was used to transmit graphics to cover the Rugby World Championships taking place in New Zealand. The Aston 7 is now being used for deferred coverage of Heineken Cup rugby highlights; the recent international rules series between Ireland and Australia; and live coverage of the Rabo Direct Pro 12 rugby competition.
According to Storm Broadcast's Managing Director Paul Vanlint, "The Aston 3D Character Generator includes the industry's most intuitive CG user interface as well as the advantages of ultra-fast, page-based graphics recall.
"Brainstorm powers many of the highest profile television productions the world and we are delighted to add Nemeton TV to our list of prestigious international clients."
