Emma Gage joins Twofour Productions

As part of the '4South West' initiative to develop creative industries in the South West region, Twofour Productions have appointed Emma Gage as a Factual Entertainment Development Producer.
Twofour Productions is one of two independent production companies spearheading 4SouthWest, Channel 4's Creative Cities initiative in the region. Jointly funded by Channel 4, South West Regional Development Agency, South West Screen, Twofour Productions and Touch Productions the pilot scheme aims to bring new creative talent to the small screen as well as supporting existing talent.
Emma Gage has a very strong television production and development background. She was Editor of the Big Breakfast in the days of Chris Evans and Gaby Roslin, twice producer of Comic Relief and worked at BBC Features - with Clive James - and for Tiger Aspect.
"Twofour is perfectly placed to foster talent in the area," said Gage, "and I am looking forward to expanding the factual and entertainment department and initiating a stream of quality programmes and successful formats for the UK networks - from outside London. It will be fantastic to promote the South West as a centre of television excellence."
Melane Leach, Director of Broadcast Development at Twofour Productions, said: "Emma comes to Twofour with a great track record in network entertainment and will add a new dimension to the company's development department. It's rare for someone of her calibre to arrive in the region and we are delighted she has decided to join the team at Twofour."
