Canopus Europe's first appearance at Video Forum

The latest video editing and image manipulation systems, a complete line-up of professional video editing tools, from Canopus Europe will be on show at Video Forum 2003.
For the first time in the UK, Canopus will unveil the latest in media conversion with the ADVC-500. Also on stand is the highly acclaimed Imaginate software and the new version of ProCoder 1.2. The latest version of DVStorm 2 will also be on show to give visitors hands on experience of this popular video editing tool.
"We are delighted to be at VideoForum for the third year and this year we are excited to be exhibiting under the new name of Canopus Europe as the UK office has recently become responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa." said Mark Evans, President of Canopus Europe. "It's important to us meet both new and existing customers and be able to show them new product developments in person."
Imaginate allows video professionals use high-resolution stills to create animated and keyframed pan, zoom, rotate, and tilt movements in 3D. Imaginate gives documentary filmmakers and broadcasters, as well as corporate and event videographers, the freedom and flexibility to bring new dimensions to their productions by transforming their still images and photographs into movies.
Additionally on the stand Canopus will show for the first time in the UK the ADVC-500 the latest professional video converter specialised for NLE and designed for use with broadcast equipment. Providing analogue to DV and DV to analogue conversion, ADVC-500 is a 19-inch breakout box featuring component video, composite, s-video, balanced and unbalanced audio I/O. Supporting Windows and MacOS, ADVC-500 is an ideal component in/out solution for any DV interface. At the heart of the ADVC-500 is Canopus's proprietary DV codec chip providing, what Canopus claim is, the industry's best picture quality preservation and locked audio support during analogue to DV conversion. Locked audio ensures perfect audio and video synchronization at all times. Canopus will also be highlighting the latest version of ProCoder 1.2 which gives ProCoder added versatility for both Internet and broadcast video applications.
Completing the line up of the latest developments from Canopus the DVStorm2 will also be on display. DVStorm 2 takes real-time editing even further by including expanded features to deliver 28 real-time 2D/3D transitions and effects, including the new 3D Picture-in-Picture transition, and 15 Xplode 3D transitions.
New video filters, such as white balance and black balance, bring additional colour correction capabilities to DVStorm2.
