Vislink Standarises On TSL

TSL has announced that Vislink News and Entertainment, the UK manufacturer of the Advent brand of satellite communication products, has standardised on TSL's AMU (audio/video monitoring unit) range for all monitoring projects, quotes and proposals.
TSL, whose Professional Products Group designs, manufactures and markets a comprehensive range of audio monitoring, power management and tally signalling products, prompted the move following the sale to Vislink of TSL's AVMU-BHD+, a two channel HD/SDI decoding audio video monitor destined for use in a new ADVENT satellite uplink system for a major broadcaster in the Middle East.
The AVMU-BHD+ includes an integral 4.5" LCD display and internal loudspeaker system which allows the broadcaster to monitor the quality of HD video sources in 16 x 9 widescreen.
Vislink's Project Engineer Adam Simmonds said: "The AVMU-BHD+ is a very successful multi-format unit and is particularly suitable for use in outside broadcast environments.
"When you find something that works as well as this product, you owe it to your clients to include it whenever possible, hence our decision to include them as standard in relevant proposals."
