BBC News place audio monitoring order with TSL
Television Systems Limited (TSL) have received an order from BBC News for audio monitoring units for the accurate reading of incoming levels.
BBC News have ordered 12 of TSL's low cost precision bargraph units - the BBG 1. These units are required to offer accurate monitoring for the ingestion of news feeds where the audio quality needs to be carefully monitored at all times to ensure appropriate and accurate levels.
The new TSL BBG 1 offers high-resolution 106 Segment Tri Colour audio metering for all audio environments such as edit suites, server ingestion, playout areas and master control. This unit can be user configured for the full range of broadcast and professional audio metering standards including EBU Digital, VU and PPM.
