Snell Adds More Phabrix SxAs

A leading provider of test and measurement instruments based in the UK, Phabrix, has announced that Snell, the company formed through the merger of Pro-bel and Snell & Wilcox, has placed an order for several more of the company's SxA's to compliment the Phabrix SxAs already in use.
The SxA was released at IBC 2008, as the industry's first hand-held test and measurement device to support comprehensive 3G/HD/SD measurement to the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) standards.
It received considerable interest when it was awarded the prestigious IABM Peter Wayne award for design and innovation at IBC. Since its release over 300 units have been established in companies worldwide, many into high-end broadcast manufacturers such as Snell who require an easily portable solution in their test department.

The Phabrix SxA gives the professional broadcast engineer a compact and easy to use solution for both in-studio support and field broadcast applications, where portability is needed.
Phabrix will be exhibiting at IBC in Hall 8 on Stand E23 between September 11-15. It offers a range of solutions for the broadcast industry each supporting 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI to SMPTE standards.
