MultiDyne Appoints Robert Petrilak To Engineering

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems, a leading provider of fiber optic equipment for the transport of video and audio for broadcast and pro A/V applications, has announced the appointment of Robert Petrilak to the position of Senior Staff Engineer.
In this newly created position, Rob will assist the MultiDyne Engineering team in the development of fiber optic transport for the new DVI evolutionary products.
Jim Jachetta, Senior Vice President of Engineering, said: "Rob has an extensive background in the broadcast engineering field, and a proven track record for the development of successful products.
MultiDyne is in a growth position and Rob's engineering expertise will be a benefit to the timely roll out of our new generation of products."
Robert Petrilak had been a design engineer and engineering manager for Ditech Routing Systems for eight years, before leaving to join PESA Switching Systems in 2000 as an OEM engineering product manager.
His most recent position was Senior Hardware Engineer for QuStream Corporation. Robert earned a BSEE from Florida Institute of Technology, with additional post graduate work and 16 years experience in the video industry.
