Rent Adds Letus35 Ultimate Film Adapter And Prime Lenses To Stock
The Farm Group's broadcast hire arm, Rent, has now reached its first birthday and has added the Letus35 Ultimate film adapter and prime lenses to its stock.
The Farm Group's broadcast hire arm, Rent, has celebrated its first full year of operation and after the success of 2008, is increasing its expansion plans for 2009.
Rent has recently added the Letus35 Ultimate depth of field adapter and Carl Zeiss prime lenses to its stock. The Letus35 allows the use of 35mm primes to be mounted on to video camcorders to produce stunning images.
This technology is taking the hire market by storm as it brings a film style look to images at substantially reduced hire costs, in particular when used with the increasingly popular Sony PMW-EX1 file based acquisition camera. With the Letus35 Ultimate adapter, Rent also supplies the Zacuto universal mounting system which allows the operator full flexibility of both shoulder-mounted and tripod operation.
In addition, Rent is planning further expansion into the tapeless market by adding a number of hybrid formats of Sony's HDV cameras, HVR-Z5E and HVR-Z7E, to the hire fleet.
