Fairlight Appoints SoundWorks

Fairlight has announced the appointment of Danish company SoundWorks as its distributor for the whole of Scandinavia.
With extensive experience in the broadcast, pro audio and MI markets, Soundworks is ideally placed to promote Fairlight's range of award-winning media production systems, including Constellation, Xynergi, Anthem and PyxisTrack video.
Ken Barnsley, Fairlight's Head of European Operations, said: "The Scandinavian market is one that we are keen to support and joining forces with a company as experienced as SoundWorks will allow us to introduce the Fairlight platform to a much wider customer base.

The success of Soundworks is based on the expertise and philosophy of Michael Miller, the company's founder who has a broad background in technical sound production, sales and support. Prior to establishing Soundworks in 2002, Miller was technical manager at Sweet Silence, one of Denmark's most renowned recording studios.

SoundWorks has invested in a range of Fairlight demonstration equipment including a Xynergi Media Production Centre, which it is now showing at its facility in Hellerup, Denmark.
