Rogue Film Open Day Successful

Independent digital cinematography specialist Rogue Element Films has welcomed some 120 production community members at their F35 Open Day in Pinewood, just held.
"The great crowd ensured lively discussions all day and had the chance to look at the Hawk 1.3x anamorphic lens, Sony F35 camera, DPX data capture and SR motion," said Dan Mulligan, Managing Director at Rogue Element Films.
"Also discussed, was the benefits of digital workflows and numerous cinematography pointers and tips for using these types of systems," he said.
Steve Roach, Vice President Marketing at Nevada-based S.two Corporation also paid a visit, where he discussed uncompressed DPX data systems and Dan Mulligan discussed SR and LUTs on set and more.
The event was supported by key partner BandPro Munich as well as Cinetal, cmotion, Cooke lenses, Hawk Anamorphic Lenses, Iridas, Oxygen DCT, media sponsors Reel-show.tv and S.two.
Rogue Element Films is to continue the event's success by holding more open days and workshops during the remainder of 2008 and beyond. These will also be hosted at Pinewood Studios.
