Nordisk Appointed Official International Rep For Extensive DR Formats Catalogue

Nordisk Film TV World has been appointed distributor of an extensive catalogue of formats created by DR - the major Danish public broadcaster which broadcasts commercial hit shows such as 'The X Factor' and 'Denmark's Got Talent', International Director Karoline Spodsberg said.
This news follows the recent announcement of Nordisk Film TV World's distribution deals with SVT in Sweden and TV2 in Denmark.
The DR portfolio of formats, known for their high quality and audience ratings, adds to Nordisk's strong line-up of new formats launching at MIPCOM 2008.
Headlining the DR slate is the award-winning primetime 30" factual show 'I Will Fix You' (which airs on DR on Wednesdays at 8pm).
In this unique primetime show, the cream of the country's specialist doctors attempt to diagnose the diseases of people who have failed to get answers from their local practitioners.
Providing a twist to the long-running gardening makeover genre, is 'Dream Garden'. This show premiered on DR on Tuesdays at 8pm in April 2008. 'Dream Garden' gives one family's garden a complete overhaul. What they don't know is that a celebrity guest will be designing a section of the garden and will appear at the end of the episode to reveal the surprise!
'Sold!' is a successful long-running property format. Two teams of professional estate agents try to guess the price of houses just sold with the viewers guessing along.
Finally, Nordisk presents 'Celebrity Identity', a highly rated factual format where two lifestyle experts compete in guessing a celebrity identity by snooping around in the celebrity's home.
In addition to the above are numerous high quality childrens and teens formats which are to be launched at MIPCOM Junior.
