QuStream To Introduce IntegrityCS Packaged Signal Processing Solutions At IBC2008

QuStream, a global provider of integrated solution to creators of professional video content, is building on its established signal processing expertise to offer a new range of off-the-shelf customised solutions to directly address specific customer needs.
The new IntegrityCS series comprises a suite of stand-alone, single rack-unit solutions that are new to QuStream and to the market. These complement QuStream's existing Integrity 500 and Integrity 600 modular signal processing lines.
The IntegrityCS solutions are designed to cover the most common signal processing requirements encountered in current television systems and include single or bundled multiple processors.
The 1RU packages ship standard with a local front panel control, power supply and system controller, with the option of remote or networked system control from a single panel to suit requirements.
Solutions are available for SD and HD television video and audio to enable industry professionals to maintain the correct sound and picture specifications within their facilities - essential for producing consistent high quality results.
IntegrityCS is designed to address the requirements of a broad range of customers working in areas such as post-production, tape duplication and media transfer, where multiple source formats are used. In broadcast facilities, the IntegrityCS processors maybe incorporated to ensure video and audio quality is consistent with industry standards.
Karlton Burn, QuStream's Vice-President of Global Sales & Marketing, said: "With IntegrityCS we've made it easier than ever for television professionals to have the signal processing they need, where they need it. They can select just the functionality they want; it fits in a small box and can be controlled locally, or remotely for centralised operations. This gives more flexibility in system design, for example, to include more de-centralised autonomous operational areas or to expand with new ones."
The CS line comprises ten single rack-unit solutions that contain one or more signal processing applications for HD and SD. These include Color Corrector, Legalizer, Dolby-E Synchronizer with Embedder/De-Embedder, Analog and AES Multiplexer/De-Multiplexer, Pre-Processing Amplifier and two models of Analog to HD-SDI Converters.
