Entrants Sought For Scottish Gaelic Film Competition

Scottish Gaelic language film is to get a boost with news that FilmG, the Gaelic-language short film competition, is now seeking entries.
The competition is now looking for "fresh and exciting faces, voices and ideas" just when a new Gaelic television channel is coming on air.
Organises are looking for three to five minute short films in any genre: drama, documentary, sports, horror, comedy, music video, experimental and so on.
A spokesperson said: "It can be anything as long as the final film is in Gaelic.
"Here are some initial themes to help guide creative thoughts: Saturday night; Collision; New faces, new places; Yikes! and Dark and light.
"This is a chance to showcase talent, develop short as a broadcast pilots or win £5,000," noting that even if entrants 'don't have Gaelic', FilmG can help find someone who has and can help.
