Advanstar and Future sign up for Digital Arts World 2003

Advanstar Communications and Future Publishing are to renew their collaboration for next year's Digital Arts World.
The conference, scheduled for October 28-30 2003, is also to move to a new venue at London’s Earls Court.
Digital Arts World 2003 is aimed at anyone involved in special effects, games, web design, digital video, graphic design or computer music.
Karen Parks, Group Exhibitions Director at Advanstar Communications Europe, said: “This year’s show was a major success. All the signs are that the industry welcomes the news that such a powerful team will be working together again next year.”
John Weir, Publishing Director of Future's Digital Division, added: “Digital Arts World is an essential meeting place for anyone involved in digital content creation. Our publications and websites are at the centre of this community and we are very pleased to be working with Advanstar again as official media sponsors.”
Advanstar Communications will draw on extensive experience as a worldwide event organiser to create the content for the Digital Arts World conference programme and to handle event management, and they will be the direct point of contact for sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and attendees.
Future Publishing are to drive the marketing of the event through their specialist magazines Computer Arts, 3D World, Cre@teOnline, Edge, Computer Music and Future Music.
Digital Arts World 2003 will consist of a multi-streamed festival expected to attract even more speakers and participants than this year’s impressive line up. The show floor will contain an exciting mix of stage appearances, hands-on workshops, debating sessions and exhibits from some of the most influential individuals and companies in the industry.
The 10th Annual London Effects and Animation Festival Awards, held alongside the event, will recognise the best creative talent in animation and special effects.
