Middle East Office For TSL

TSL has announced that it will soon be opening the doors to a new office in Dubai. The new facility is planned to be based in Studio City. Following in the footsteps of the famous Media City, Studio City will cater to the production needs of facilities in the region and will house major movie studios.


The announcement significantly strengthens TSL's long-standing presence in the Middle East region, increasing the local and regional opportunities for the company's systems integration and professional products divisions. The announcement was made by TSL's CEO David Phillips yesterday, at an event for CABSAT 2008, held beside Dubai’s Novotel swimming pool.

Founded in 1986, TSL is the UK's leading creator of integrated broadcast systems. In an industry characterised by rapid growth and intense competition, the company is a consistent high-achiever and is the only organisation of its type and size offering truly independent advice. This is the first time that TSL has opened an office outside of the UK and is thus a major milestone in the company’s 22 year history.


"We are very excited to make this announcement at CABSAT today," commented David Phillips. "Dubai is the hub for the Middle East and Gulf regions, which have seen a rapid growth in the broadcast market over the last few years and this looks destined to continue. The new office provides us with a base in one of Dubai’s Free Trade Zones, increasing TSL's response times to systems opportunities and allows the company to assist in smaller scale systems work for local broadcasters. The office will also provide a Middle East base for TSL's professional products division, reducing lead time for deliveries."


TSL will shortly be announcing new appointments for the staffing of the office, which will include local engineering and administration support team members.
