Travel Grants Available For IFB Trade Mission To LA

Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board (IFB) is leading a trade mission to Los Angeles from 18 to 22 February 2008, and is encouraging Irish industry professionals to take part.
This is an opportunity to develop new and existing business relationships with North American filmmakers, with the aim of attracting North American production to base in Ireland, whilst also seeking North American partners for Irish film and television in development.
To this end Culture Ireland is kindly providing 15 travel grants of €1500 each which will be available to Irish producers to allay the cost of travel and accommodation associated with taking part in this trade mission.
The focal point of the week will be the Irish Film Board Los Angeles’ Annual U.S. Industry Reception at the Mondrian Hotel, co-hosted by Culture Ireland and Enterprise Ireland.
The deadline for receipt of applications is Wednesday 9 January 2008.
