Links Broadcast Deploy High Definition SNG
Links Broadcast is expanding its SNG fleet with the deployment of a High Definition Satellite News Gathering vehicle.
The HD SNG carries a fully redundant configuration with 8PSK, DVB-S2 and extensive HD vision/sound monitoring and switching.
Paul Airey, Head of Operations at Links Broadcast said: "The business has gone from strength to strength and we feel now is the right time to invest in the HD market.
"Over the past year we have seen a considerable increase in HD enquiries and bookings with more and more broadcasters, production houses and corporate entities making the switch to HD.
"Our objective is to provide complete end to end solutions with the flexibility to enable our customers to have the choice of SD and HD services."
The future of world wide SNG is HD broadcasting and Links Broadcast is at the leading edge of that technology.
