DVS To Demonstrate Future Workflow Design In DI And Broadcast At IBC

At this year's IBC from September 7 to 11, DVS Digital Video Systems GmbH will demonstrate future workflow design in DI and broadcast.
At its booth, DVS will present custom solutions from the high-end range of video technology. The DVS appearance at the IBC will focus on 4K, broadcast, digital cinema, and partnerships.
DVS will present the video processing technology of the future at this year's IBC. At stand 7.421, DVS will demonstrate how post production and broadcasting workflows can be individually optimized. DVS will showcase the latest versions of all its products, their new features, as well as optimal solutions for DI and broadcasting. The company will focus its IBC presence on broadcast, digital cinema, 4K, and partnerships.
DVS is the only company in the world to manufacture DI systems capable of processing 4K material in real-time. For example, the latest version of CLIPSTER, DVS's flagship, handles significant 4K editing features in real-time. Zoom & pan, cropping, primary colour correction, and 3D LUT can be performed without delay, enabling optimized workflows. Visitors may experience CLIPSTER's versatility as a one-stop DI solution in DVS's 4K area.
Migration to HDTV is increasing the importance of digital processing in broadcasting. For even smoother workflows in broadcast production, these processes can be supported by DVS's new ProntoXway multi-channel disk recorder, featuring optimized HD handling. Integrating ProntoXway and other DVS products such as CLIPSTER or DVS-SAN into broadcast processes enables effective, high-performance workflows. Further details are available to visitors in the broadcast area of the DVS booth.
The cinema of the future relies on digital technologies such as JPEG2000, requiring appropriate standards for production. The high-performance DVS products meet even the most demanding technological standards such as those of the Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI) and are designed to make successful digital cinema projects possible. In the digital cinema area of its booth, DVS will showcase possible applications of its products in digital cinema workflows.
Particularly in the OEM field, DVS relies on successful cooperation with other manufacturers. Many partners value DVS quality boards for their reliability and performance, integrating them into their own systems. At the DVS booth visitors to the IBC may learn how leading international manufacturers have optimized their systems with OEM boards made in Germany.
