'The Train' Speeds Into Yorkshire For IIFA Weekend At Cineworld

News Image
In keeping with the tradition of IIFA over the years, the International Indian Film Academy has announced Shyam Bajaj’s ‘The Train – The Inspiration’ as the World Premiere Film.
‘The Train’ directed by Hasnain S. Hydrabadwala and Raksha Mistry stars Emraan Hashmi, Geeta Basra and Sayali Bhagat and Aseem Bhagat. It will be showcased in Yorkshire during the IIFA Weekend at Cineworld Castleford on June 7, 2007.
Each year, the IIFA World Premiere is chosen by the IIFA Management after considerable evaluation to ensure that the profile fits the IIFA objectives of screening meaningful cinema and movies of international standard. Over the past few years, the IIFA World Premiere platform has showcased the Oscar-nominated Lagaan, Aankhen, Yuva, Parineeta and Provoked, all of which have been critically and commercial acclaimed successes.
The IFFA World Premiere is held on the inaugural day of the IIFA Weekend, which includes several mega events including the FICCI – IIFA Global Business Forum, the IIFA Foundation Celebrity Cricket Match and the IDEA IFFA Awards, which are presented by IDEA Cellular and Star television network.
Speaking on this occasion, Shyam Bajaj, the proud producer of the movie said: "It is indeed an honour for me to have my movie premiered at IIFA. A stage of impeccable repute, IIFA has premiered movies in the past that have gone on to become milestones in the journey of Indian cinema. For my film to be following in the steps of such masterpieces is a dream come true for me."
But that is where the movie stops being predictable and takes a turn unimaginable to the audience. The extra marital affair is just one facet of this unusual tale. The presence of a faceless man with evil intentions spying on the three protagonists throughout the film is bound to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
The music track of the film is special and reasons are aplenty. The movie marks the debut of Mithoon as the sole composer and music director who has given foot-tapping hits in the recent past. Lyrics maestro, Sayeed Quadri has lent words to Mithoon’s fabulous tunes.
As the World Film Premiere at the IDEA IIFA Awards Weekend in Yorkshire, the movie – ‘The Train’ will receive a red carpet welcome at the CineWorld, Castleford. The premiere will be attended by major Indian Cinema stars and members of the press.
