Grass Valley Announce Management Changes

Grass Valley has announced a series of management changes that better align its product groups with the broadcast, professional video, and broadband and network-distribution markets that it serves.
Jacques Dunogue, Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Thomson's Systems division, will take over direct management responsibility for the Grass Valley business. Going forward, Grass Valley will be comprised of three business units: Broadcast & Professional Solutions, Integration & Transmission Solutions, and Video Network Solutions. Each unit will have its own focus and leadership team.
Jeff Rosica will lead the Broadcast & Professional Solutions business unit, reporting directly to Dunogue. The unit will be responsible for all core Grass Valley broadcast, film/television production, and professional video products. Rosica will continue to lead the North American sales activities for Grass Valley.
Patrick Montliaud will continue in his role leading the Integration and Transmission Solutions business unit, in addition to his role as the leader of European/Rest of World sales activities. This unit will be responsible for Grass Valley application software, turnkey systems, and transmission products.
Christophe Delahousse will continue in his role leading the Video Network Solutions business unit, which will be responsible for Grass Valley compression, digital mobility, IPTV, networking, and signal-management products.
"New production, distribution, and consumer technologies are fundamentally changing the way television, radio, and other entertainment programming is created, delivered, and consumed," said Dunogue. "The changes announced today ensure that Thomson and Grass Valley remain ahead of our competitors when it comes to meeting the demanding requirements of the markets we serve."
It has also been announced that Hiro Yamada will work with the management of the Grass Valley business to help drive overall architecture and technology strategies. He will also continue in his role within the Broadcast & Professional Solutions business unit overseeing the editing, server, and storage product lines and continue to oversee commercial activities in Japan.
