Pinnacle supply switcher and character generators to GBC

The Greek Business Channel (GBC) have installed a Pinnacle Systems PDS 6000 switcher, two DekoCast master control systems and one Deko Rocket in their new studio in Athens.
GBC, which is on-air 10-12 hours per day seven days a week, is Greece’s first digital, interactive, television channel dedicated to the delivery of live business news. All the Pinnacle Systems’ products work together to create, manipulate and present the news in the most effective and efficient way.
The Pinnacle products were supplied by Pinnacle’s partner in Athens, KEM Electronics. Thimios Koliokotsis, General Sales Manager at KEM Electronics, explained why he is confident that this is the right equipment for the job.
He said: “GBC needed broadcast equipment that would allow it to get large amounts of fast moving information to air in a way that reflects its dynamism, innovation and individuality while making it appealing to viewers.
