TSL Highlights Projects CABSAT 2007

TSL is world renowned for its systems integration work and has been involved in the rollout of new technology and workflows for many of broadcasters and facilities.
The company is involved in a number of high profile systems projects in the region including a new HD studio and transmission facility for Al Watan in Kuwait, and two large HD OB production units for leading Arabic broadcaster ART.
TSL has a strong professional products division that includes audio monitoring, UMD and Tally systems. The company often develops solutions in-house to meet customer requirements that cannot be satisfied by existing third-party products.
At CABSAT 2007 TSL will be showcasing:

• AMU HD range: This portfolio of comprehensive audio monitoring products has everything you need to migrate your existing SD audio and video monitoring to HD, including a built-in video monitoring quality enabling HD video signals, at any standard resolution, to be down-converted at monitoring quality and displayed on an external 4:3 SD or composite monitor.
• AMU2 8HD range: Offers 8 channels of HD/SD embedded audio, Dolby E and Dolby Digital sources to be monitored all in one box to allow signals to be accurately monitored in a wide variety of systems applications.
• Dolby and HD capable: Highlights include affordable Dolby E monitoring with the AMU2 Dolby unit. Multi-standard HD units also feature unique built in HDSDI video monitoring with an integral Aspect Ratio Converter (ARC) and down converter, which enables 16:9 HD video to be monitored on a 4:3 SD monitor.
