Screen Subtitling Systems unveil latest HD subtitling technology at NAB

Screen Subtitling’s latest innovations mean that all types of subtitling services are available in HD.
From preparation through transmission to comprehensive monitoring systems, at NAB Screen demonstrated sophisticated tools to create, transmit and monitor DVB, Teletext, Open (in vision), VANC HD Data and MPEG subtitles in both HD and SD formats.
The Polistream G5000 HD allows the creation of animated logos plus broadcast quality subtitles all generated using just one box. The G5000 can be used for either transmission or post production and is ideal for brand localisation on major networks.
Its versatility means it is also the perfect subtitle and graphics tool for single channel operations.
Using cutting edge MPEG processing technology, Screen has developed the Polistream M-3500 which can modify multiple MPEG2 video streams without decoding and recoding the whole picture.
The M3500 is able to add the text and graphics in real time which means considerable savings in cost and rack space without the loss of video quality.
