Ascent Media purchase Digital Vision DVNR ME system

Digital Vision, a leading developer of advanced digital media applications specialising in film and video solutions has announced that one of the world's largest digital production companies, Ascent Media Management Services, has purchased a Digital Vision DVNR ME image processing system.
Ascent Media Management Services is based on Burbank, California and has an impressive list of clients including 20th Century Fox, Adelphia, BBC, Charter Communications, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company and Warner Bros.
The Digital Vision DVNR ME system will be used by Ascent Media Management Services to reversion library titles by removing imperfections prior to repurposing for a myriad of distribution channels.
Kevin Sanders, Chief Technical Officer, Ascent Media Management Services commented: "The Digital Vision DVNR will play an important role in the restoration division of our state-of-the-art facility by enabling our highly skilled colourists to remove excessive grain, film dust and random scratches."
